The SHIFT Awards are the UK’s sustainability awards for social landlords. They recognise and celebrate the achievements made in reducing environmental impacts and improving the quality of life of residents.

SHIFT is the sustainability standard for the housing sector. Accreditation through SHIFT demonstrates delivery against key environmental targets provides a route-map for improvement and allows organisations to compare performance against their peers.

SHIFT landlords manage homes for over 2 million residents across the UK and are assessed each year against hard metrics such as minimum SAP, adaptation to flooding and new build homes. These assessments lead to the presentation of Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Commended accreditation.

The Awards were presented in conjunction with the Buildings & Energy Efficiency Awards at a black tie dinner and networking event on Tuesday 10^th November 2015 at the Grand Hall in the Palace Hotel – Manchester.
