Responding to Hot Weather Events in Cities

Partner Event to be held on 31 May 2018, 12:00 to 16:30
City Hall, London

As part of a program of research on responses to climate change, Surrey University is developing a research project on perceptions of and responses to hot weather events in cities.

In partnership with Surrey and the British Sociological Association, we are organizing  a workshop  to help set the direction and the form of the research project. This will take place on Thursday 31st May at City Hall.

We welcome partners from academia, policy, buildings and infrastructure, and NGOs who have experience of working across communities and organizations to support resilience to hot weather events. Come along and help shape the research to ensure that it meets the needs of practitioners and decision-makers.
