Partner Event to be held on
10 March 2017, 09:30 to 12:30 and 13:00 to 15:30
City Hall, London
LCCP, in partnership with London Resilience and TfL, are pleased to host a half-day workshop on 10 March 2017 at City Hall, where we will use London Resilience’s Anytown methodology to explore interdependencies within the critical systems that our city depends on for its day-to-day functioning. Understanding and being able to articulate these interdependencies and potential cascading failures is an important step in planning to improve our city’s resilience, in the short and longer terms.
Previous workshops have considered the cascading failures resulting from disruption to utility services. This workshop will explore interdependencies associated with disruption to transportation across the full range of systems.
We welcome colleagues from resilience, facilities and asset management, business continuity, climate change adaptation, utilities, highways, public health, and anyone with an interest in understanding and building the resilience of interdependent systems.
