Climate Change: Innovation for Resilience & Adaptation

The 2014 IPCC Report identified the need for a greater focus on adaptation in business to reduce the risks and impacts of climate change and the need to design for greater resilience in new infrastructure and the built environment.

The Business Council for Sustainable Development hosted a workshop that presented some of the solutions being adopted by business, in cities and key installations, examined how these can be replicated, and provided a chance to discuss opportunities in business.

LCCP Manager Juliette Daniels presented on London’s current activities and plans to increase the city’s resilience to climate change-related threats.
