The event comprised break out sessions by infrastructure type, where participants discussed the contents of the chapters with GLA policy staff and provided feedback and suggestions.

The Plan, which was out for consultation until 31 October 2014, sets out what infrastructure the city will need up to 2050, in order to continue to thrive and deal with the challenges of population growth and changing needs during that time. Given the timeframe of the strategy, another key pressure on London’s infrastructure will be climate change.
