Future Neighbourhoods 2030

Posted on 17/03/21 by Kristen Guida

London’s Green New Deal Mission aims to tackle the challenges of climate change and pollution while supporting the growth of London’s green economy. As part of the mission activities this year, The GLA has made £3 million available to fund the first phase of the Future Neighbourhoods 2030 Programme. This programme seeks to support deprived and climate vulnerable neighbourhoods in becoming low carbon, resilient, circular economies. This first phase will enable development of visionary 2030 strategies and implementation of environmental projects. A further £4.5 million will be available in the second phase to fund further projects to March 2024, subject to GLA decision-making and budget process.

Boroughs, BIDs, and other local partnerships are invited to submit EOIs by 5pm on 17 May. Find more information about the programme and how to apply here. The GLA will hold 45-minute information sessions to discuss the programme prospectus on 22 March at 12:30pm, 24 March at 4pm, and 25 March at 10am. If you have questions about the programme or would like to attend one of the information sessions, you can email the team.
