New London Deputy Mayor for the Environment appointed

The LCRP is delighted to welcome Mete Coban as the new Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, as he takes on the role of overseeing the Mayor’s world-leading climate action plan for the capital.

We were pleased to receive a letter from Mete last month where he expressed his enthusiasm for working with us on improving London’s resilience to extreme weather and the impacts of climate change, and to implement the recommendations from the London Climate Resilience Review.

We look forward to working with him on these shared priorities over the next 4 years.
