Climate UK, in partnership with SFEDI, offered two training courses in London for people who have a business advisory or support function about business resilience. The training helped advisors to use the Business Resilience Health Check (BRHC) with business clients.
Participants received an accredited Level 5 qualification in the use of the BRHC tool and a year’s membership in the IOEE (Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs).
80% of businesses affected by a major incident either never reopen or close within 18 months.
Today’s business environment is characterised by rapid, unpredictable change. But no matter what, firms must be responsive and resilient in order to secure long-term survival, profitability and growth.
The Business Resilience Health Check helps businesses become more resilient to the risks they will face both now and in the future and ensure that they can continue to operate as usual in the face of potential disruption.
The training was part of a national series of events, which comprised ½ day courses around the country to develop practitioner’s skills in the use of the Business Resilience Health Check Tool.
You can find out more about the series of workshops at the Climate UK website.
